In regard to the food producer aspect, the researchers learnt that the quality of food in the hostel mess at Jahangirabad Institute of Technology is satisfactory. For the meals, numerous students consider their variety and nutritional value as work on one hand, but on the other hand they also look at the issues of consistency in the taste of some foods. The mess is clean; emphasis is placed over neatness and tidiness of the compound. But the food may not be up to standard sometimes since different people possess different preferences.

For the admission, the candidates must pass 10+2 exam with minimum 50 percent in physics, mathematics and chemistry or computer Science as compulsory subjects. The hostel fees of the Jahangirabad Institute of Technology (JIT) differs from one another depending on the types of hostels regarded. Normally the fees touch INR 60000 for the hostel room rent and the food charges till INR 80000 per annum. As with most other aspects, these charges can vary depending on the type of room…single or shared and facilities that might be provided.
