Haridwar University provides scholarships based on the merit of the candidates. Candidates need to complete Class 12 with at least 45% aggregate to apply for Haridwar University BTech programme. BTech is a four-year programme divided into eight semesters. Admission to BTech is based on JEE Main rank and eligibility criteria set by the university. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at later stages of admission.

MTech is a two-year programme offered at Haridwar University in various specialisations. Candidates who have completed bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant field with at least 50% aggregate can apply for any of the M.Tech specialisations. Haridwar University admission to M.Tech course will be based on  GATEscore. Additionally, aspirants must also pass a bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant field with at least 50% aggregate to apply for M.Tech course. After completion of the selection rounds, shortlisted aspirants need to pay the course fee and submit the specified documents to confirm their admission. 

Haridwar University admission to BTech (Hons) is based on  JEE Main score. Additionally, candidates who have passed Class 12 with at least 45% aggregate can apply for the BTech (Hons) course. As soon as the selection rounds are over, aspirants are required to submit the specified documents for verification and pay a fee to confirm their seat. 

The total fee for BTech (Hons) ranges between INR 4.57 Lacs and INR 4.97 lakh. The fee includes annual fee for each year.  The total fee excludes a tuition fee of INR 62,000. After completion of the selection rounds, shortlisted aspirants need to pay the course fee to confirm their admission. In case, a candidate is unable to pay the fee within the specified time, his or her admission will stand cancelled.

The mode of application is both online and offline. Haridwar University offers more than 50 courses at UG, PG, diploma, certificate and PhD levels in multiple streams like Engineering, Management, Commerce, Science, etc. After completing Class 12, candidates can apply for UG courses. Graduation is necessary for PG courses. Admission to all courses is either based on merit in the last qualifying exam or entrance exam.
