DBUU has over 190 seats for BA. These seats are distributed over the BA speciliations offered at the university. The university allocate these seats to eligible applicants based on their Class 12/equivalent exam merit. Additionally, 40% of the total seats are reserved for the permanent residents of Uttarakhand. DBUU BA admissions are primarily merit-based. Candidates are shortlisted for admission based on their merit in Class 12/equivalent exam, subject to the fulfilment of the preset eligibility criteria. Hence, aspirants are not required to take any entrance exam to secure admission to BA at the university. In some cases, the university may also provide direct admissions. DBUU has specified the eligibility criteria that the applicants must fulfil in order to secure BA admission at the university. To be eligible to pursue a BA at DBUU, applicants must have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognised educational board in any stream. They must have scored at least 40% in Class 12/equivalent examination. However, to pursue BA (Hons) in Journalism and Mass Communications, applicants must have scored a minimum of 45% in Class 12/equivalent examination.

UEI Global, Dehradun admissions are open for various courses. Till now, no schedule has been released by the institute. Since the application portal is live, candidates can apply online for their preferred course. UEI courses' admissions are based on merit bases. Candidates must also fulfil the minimum eligibility requirements of the respective courses.
