Students who secures above 80% of successful candidates in the relevant stream from the respective board of examination in Class 12 or equivalent and pursuing regular courses (not correspondence or distance mode) in colleges/institutions recognised by All India Council of Technical Education, UGC Act, 1956, Medical Council of India, Dental Council of India and respective regulatory authorities. Students choose to pursue Diploma courses at Doon Institute of Medical Sciences are not eligible under the scheme.

To get admission to the Doon Institute of Medical Sciences (DIMS) in 2024, candidates must qualify for the NEET examination. The National Testing Agency conducts the NEET examination. DIMS does not conduct any entrance exam for admission to any of the courses offered, except for the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS).

M.D. cutoff is based on NEET PG scores for admission to the MD and MS courses. As per NEET PG cutoff the Round 1 closing ranks for top courses including MD in Radiodiagnosis closed at 159 and MD in Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy closed at 388 for the General category All India candidates. First of all you need to obtain 75% in 12th board.Then you need to crack JEE Mains with 250 numbers out of 300. For IIT college you need to give JEE Advance after JEE Mains if you obtain 1500 rank in JEE advance you can take IIT college. For admission in IIT college go on IIT website for counseling. According to your rank you will obtain best branch in IIT college.
