IIT BHU accepts JEE Advanced scores for admission to the BTech courses based on cutoff. IIT BHU BTech cutoff 2024 has been released across multiple specialisations. The cutoff trend for BTech at Indian Institute of Technology, BHU, Varanasi has been increasing in recent years. In 2021, the round 1 closing rank for BTech CSE under the general category for all India quota was 836. In 2022, it increased to 858 and now in 2023, it is 1010. Likewise, the cutoff ranks have changed from 362 to 389 for OBC, 220 to 218 for SC, 126 to 121 for ST, 120 to 125 for EWS, and 32 to 51 for PWD. Indian Institute of Technology, BHU, Varanasi will release 6 rounds of JEE Advanced cutoffs for admission to B.Tech. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The last year 2022 cutoff ranks for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology, BHU, Varanasi other than General category are - 389 for OBC, 218 for SC, 121 for ST, 125 for EWS, 51 for PWD. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE exam, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 1277 and closing rank was 1318. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 2983 and 2983. Admission to Integrated BTech +M.Tech in Computer Science Engineering in Indian Institute of Technology, BHU, Varanasi is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

IIT BHU accepts JEE Advanced score, followed by JoSAA Counselling for admission to the BTech courses. IIT BHU cutoff 2023 was concluded after Round 6 of the JEE Advanced Seat Allotment Result. As per IIT BHU cutoff 2023, the last round closing rank for BTech was ranged between 1366 and 24641 for the BTech courses. Considering the IIT BHU cutoff 2023, Integrated BTech + MTech in Computer Science Engineering was the most competitive course, followed by Integrated BTech + MTech in Mathematics and Computing considering its last round closing rank for the General All India category student.

IIT BHU JEE Advanced cutoff 2023 was concluded after Round 6 of the Seat Allotment Result for the Engineering and Architecture courses. As per the IIT BHU BArch cutoff 2023, the last round closing rank stood at 24641 for the General All India category student. For 2023, cut off was 3785 for SC candidates in All India quota for Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) in Indian Institute of Technology, Varanasi. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 24641 was the closing rank. BArch cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

Both are good branches but chemical has slightly upper hand from civil because reseach scope in chemical is more. As far as IT companies are concerned, both are equal but in case of further studies especially in MS, Chemical has better opppotunities.
