Candidates who took the CUET UG exam can sign in UET counselling portal through bhuonline site with the help of their login credentials used during the registration process. The UG 2023 merit list will appear on the desktop screen. Candidates will be able to see the course list, and from there they can choose their respective course and see the cutoff score for the respective subjects. The same procedure is followed for BHU PG courses.

A paid seat is basically for those students whose marks scored on the entrance test are slightly lesser than the cutoff list. The process of admission for both regular and paid seats is the same. After conducting the entrance exam, BHU releases the cutoff scores of all the courses offered in BHU Varanasi. Around 10 seats in all courses are reserved as paid seats I. e. seats with some extra fee. Paid seat is available for both main campus and affiliated colleges.

For Sanskrit, Hindi Geography, and Philosophy, BHU courses are preferred by the students. Banaras Hindu University and Delhi University are equivalent for the remaining subjects. For the majority of the Science stream courses, BHU is slightly ahead. BHU is ranked 6 whereas DU is placed 13 in the NIRF 2022 rankings for universities, giving BHU a clear advantage over DU in a number of areas. The Banaras Hindu University is rated 4.8 on the basis of the EDU Opinions rankings. The largest residential institution in Asia, BHU has over 30,000 students, 18,000 of whom live on campus. In the previous academic year, around 94.5% of the students were placed. The highest salary package offered at BHU this year was 28.7 LPA. Candidates at BHU get plenty of time to focus on their area of interest and pastime. However, I have heard that students really need to work hard for their semesters in faculty members like the scientific department. The food served at the BHU hostels is of good quality. There is Wi-Fi available in the hostel. T
