As an alumnus of LPU, I feel proud to answer this question. I was a student in the B.Tech CSE of the 2012 batch. Lovely Professional University is one of the best universities to pursue a B.Tech. To commence with the curriculum, all the subjects you will study, their syllabus is designed keeping in mind the industry demands and company officials vet the syllabus. I will not suggest SRM due to the heavy fee burden on your parents. It is almost 30 Lacs with a hostel fee. You will not be able to pay with the placement that is given. Please see some of the Anna University colleges. They may not be great, but they cost you 1/10 of what SRM will give. The faculty are the same in all colleges as they are from Anna University or affiliated colleges.

SRM is one of the finest universities in Chennai.As they are kind and will help you whenever they want. Overall academics are good. Placement is as good as you think. As SRM University Chennai has more than 800 companies visiting them each year and 80 percent of the students studying there get placed.

SRM, VIT, etc. Ask for a PCM aggregate of 70%+. Most good colleges ask for a minimum PCM aggregate of 60%. So obviously, you are not eligible for any good college via merit. Hope it helps.

I would personally suggest VIT because its academic curriculum and pattern they follow are at international standards. Apart from that VIT has a strong base in connecting with various companies, institutes, and centers for letting it be placements or academics. VIT has a very good number of company sponsors.

The packages will depend on your knowledge and merit. So it depends on various factors. If you want to get a good package then you have to maintain good soft skills on placements then you definitely get a good package in placements.

Hello, if you want to get a cse seat you must have to secure below 5k rank in the entrance exam. Then only it is possible to get in category 1 in VIT Vellore.
