You have entrance exam only for B.Tech, M.Tech & Research courses and there is no entrance exam for other courses in VIT. The students for other courses will be selected based on the marks obtained in HSC or its equivalent for UG and based on Degree percentage for PG.

Eligibility for VIT Architecture Course is Candidates must have a valid Score, in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by Council of Architecture (COA), India / Candidates who have qualified NATA. The eligibility and selection process considering the NATA score will be subject to any changes that NATA / COA (Council of Architecture) may propose for institutions to follow, in the current Academic year. So there is a much chance of getting a seat in VIT Architecture.

Yes, BCA is best at VIT University. We can't predict the placement in BCA, as it mainly depends on the recruiter preference. VIT is well known for its placements record.

The seats are not available for different categories, all the seats are common for all category types, purely merit based. And there are total of around 120 seats.

If you are getting JU, then there is no question of admission in VIT. But if you are getting private colleges or government colleges except JU or maybe even Kalyani, then you can opt for VIT. It is better compared to these colleges in terms of academics, placements and industrial exposure.

Once the counseling is over, not a problem, you can go some other time, but all the seats will be filled so you have to take any branch seat under category 5 if you attend counselling.
