For that in the non-core branches, you have to secure under 50k rank and if you want to take admission in core branches then you have to secure under 10k rank.

Yes, you can but for that you have to study extremely very good to be in the topper list of your branch and then you can get the scholarship but if you are not able to do the same then you can apply for private scholarships, in that, you can get your fee.

Then he can wait till the next round of the counselling and in the next round of the counselling, your son can go and attend that, only then he is able to get admission in this college.

See, in this college, there is no cut-off but instead, there is an opening and closing rank for the same and that is different for the different branches, now it is up to you only in which branch you want to get admission in.

For that, you have to score under 30K rank to get into this college's main campus that is of Vellore and in the non-core branches but if you want admission in core branches then you have to score under 10k rank.

For mechanical engineering, SRM will be better than VIT as this college has a better faculty for this branch than VIT.

I would suggest you opt for ENTC as VIT is far better than Cummins College and also the study culture there is not so good, but in VIT, all the things are good.

See, in VIT, there is no chance of getting CS branch, but you can try your best in SRM as in that, there are chances of getting CS branch by some source or via management quota.
