It is a good faculty. I did my M.Tech in Biomedical Engineering from there. The course is very well designed. And the best part is, it has a lot of Project based learning courses which actually gives you an experience to work on real world problems. The faculty members are very experienced and helpful. Also the course gives you ample opportunity to learn a lot of things by your way (research as well as practical knowledge). Let me know if you have any further queries or question. Amrita school of business is better in terms of infrastructure, quality of faculty and placements. Its a beautiful, scenic campus with lot of opportunities to improve our skills.

The most important point is that DAIICT does't have computer science. The course is ICT- information and communication technology which is sort of combination of ECE and CS and some people can do minors in computational science which is different from computer science. If you speak of the coding world come join DA. I have friends in a couple of colleges you mentioned so according to me your preferential order could be
DAIICT, LNMIT, DTU, VIT, Nirma, Thapar. Hope this helps.

It purely depends on what specialisation you are interested in and what are your parameters for evaluating a place of study. You would consider following facts before entering a college:
A) Faculty
B) Infrastructure
C) Placements
D) Practical exposure
E) Credibility
Nirma and UPES both qualify all these parameters. Now, the only differentiate here would be the specialisation that both these colleges offer. If you have appeared for UPES-EAT and have been invited for Counselling then you must attend the counselling to know in details about each of the specializations offered here as there would be very limited information available through

Hello Sri, Timings of first year students is tightly controlled by the institution. However, one has the choice to select morning batch or afternoon batch. One needs to attend classroom for about 7-8 hours a day but don't worry. It's not at all troublesome. One gets plenty of time for extra curricular activities.
