Factors that will determine the VITMEE 2016 cut-off are the number of applicants, difficulty levels of the VITMEE 2016 test papers, intake of seats in each specialisation and the previous year's cut-offs.

VIT has 2 campuses, one is in Vellore and the other one is in Chennai. Vellore is famous in comparison to Chennai but since both are a part of VIT so it doesn't make any difference. So, I will rate VIT, Vellore 3.5/5.

Hello Abhishek,
VIT, Vellore is one of the most prestigious private college of India. Top class faculties and top class education with quality students is provided to its students. Many companies go for placements at Vellore with different scale of pay. The highest package offered in VIT this year was 16 LPA by LinkedIn. Many other companies like Flipkart, EBay, Deshaw, Cisco, InMobi and McKinsey offered package of more than 10 lacs and average salary is just about 3-4 LPA.

You can contact the institute for the same. They may take more fee for the same. Otherwise, I don't think there is any other option.

Both are good at their places but for IT branch RV College is the best choice.
