Yes, you can still get admission to VIT Vellore without appearing for the VITEEE under specific circumstances. Diploma holders in engineering can also apply for lateral entry into the second year of a B.Tech program. For non-engineering courses, VIT has separate admission criteria based on academic performance or other entrance exams. International applicants, including NRIs and foreign nationals, can apply directly thr

1.Placement:Before enrolling in VIT-AP, check in which branch and specialisation you are getting admission. Ex: CSE-CORE, CSE-AI, CSE-Network Security etc. vs CSE, ECE, MECH etc. This is  the most important thing to pay attention to. You won't know its importance until you actually go there. You will  regret  this mistake (choose your specialization). Here are the reasons why:2. The only stream that got a good rank is CSE-Core. All other specializations like AI, DS, NS etc. only serve business purpose and generate profit by increasing category fees, not a career. Mark my words. If you visit your placement, you will see t

However, admissions typically consider academic performance in 10+2 (minimum 50% aggregate) along with other factors such as extracurricular achievements and personal interviews. The average fee for the program ranges from INR 2.62 lakhs to INR 9.62 lakhs, depending on the specialization chosen. It's unlikely that you'll be able to get admission to the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) branch at VIT Chennai or VIT Vellore with a rank of 51,000 in VITMEE: VIT Chennai: In 2016, the closing rank for the CSE branch at VIT Chennai was 14,000. VIT Vellore: The expected opening rank for a VITEEE 2025 score of 72–81 is 5,001, and the closing rank is 6,500.
