The Central library covers over an area of 7770 sq m with six floors. It has a collection of books, journals & other resources in Mathematics & Sciences, Engineering and Technology, Biotechnology, Humanities, Social Sciences and Management ranging from printed books, e-books, back volumes and CDs/ DVDs.The library has a video conferencing facility and NPTEL video courses, ePGpathashala, Swayam Programme and other E-Learning resources initiated by the Government of India.

Spread across a vast area of 372 acres, VIT Campus is the state-of-the-art infrastructure for both students and faculty. VIT Vellore campus has fully furnished and well-equipped labs. Moreover, the campus is fortified with plenty of features that support events-auditorium, plus open spaces, outdoor stages and more. A noting feature of VIT is the well-planned and comprehensive premises provided for both students and faculty. There are seven academic blocks in VIT that are extremely specialised in their own particular field. The layout has been excellently planned to make the optimum utilisation of the 372-acre campus.
