Until the previous year, there was no difference between girls and boys. According to that to get a good IIT college with the average branch you have to be under 3000 but from this year the government is going with 20% reservation for girls so it is very difficult to predict now.
Best of luck!!

Yes, it is worth it. But if you are taking a drop year, your main aim should be the top IITs. After that, NIT-Trichy and Warangal are good.

For getting into NIT, Warangal or any other NITs you have to appear for JEE Mains with mathematics in class 12th.
You should score more than 70% to get into NIT, Warangal. For CSE and other branches you should score about 50% under Open category and if you belong to some other categories like SC/ ST then 40% score will also take you to CSE. Thank you!!

You need to apply for NIT, Wwarangal separately. Admission procedures include GD and PI. There will be weightage for your B.Tech and intermediate grades. Important part is only students after B.Tech can apply.

You need to secure a percentage of 70-75% in MAT to get admission into reputed colleges in India including NITW. The first shortlist based on CAT/MAT score will be followed by group discussion and personal interview.
