Eligibility criteria to join B.E./B.Tech at Vaagdevi College of Engineering, affiliated to Kakatiya University- Eligibility qualification: Passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects.Minimum Marks: 50% marks (45% for the students belonging to any reserved category) in the qualifying examination.Entrance Test: The admission is mostly done on the basis of rank in TS EAMCET (Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test). Therefore, the average placement record of the college is moderate since the students get placed in companies like TCS, Wipro, and Cognizant, but cannot rank with the top and most prestigious colleges.  

Hi.Admission Procedure to Vaagdevi College of Engineering B.E. / B.Tech course :The minimum qualification for admission to first year of the B.Tech course is a pass in the Intermediate (10 + 2) conducted by the board of Intermediate education, Govt. of Telangana or any other examination recognised as equivalent thereto with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects.In addition to the above, Diploma holders are admitted in second year of B.Tech to the extent of 10% of intake based on the merit in the Engineering Common Entrance Test (TSECET), under lateral entry scheme conducted byGovt. of Telangana.70 % of the seats are allotted based on the merit in the Engineering and Medical Common Entrance Test (TSEAMCET) conducted by Govt. of Telangana.30 % of the seats are earmarked for Management / NRI candidates.In addition to the above, Diploma holders are admitted in second year of B.Tech to the extent of 10% of intake based on the merit in the Engineering Common Entrance Test (TSECET), under lateral entry scheme conducted by Govt. of Telangana.Thanks

The result of the semester exams conducted at Vaagdevi College of Engineering is declared with a time gap of around 30 to 45 days after the exam.
