The placements are very good for the last two years, the annual salary of Rs 24 Lacs was offered by Code Nation in 2015 and Annual Salary of Rs 18 Lacs offered by Amazon in 2016 Annual Salary of Rs 15 Lacs plus benefits offered by Flipkart in the same year, ample of reputed companies have visited this time also like:
1. Google
2. Samsung
3. Amazon
4. Flipkart
5. Windows
6. Visa
7. Goldman Sachs
8. Bank of America
9. L&T
10. ITC
11. Caterpillar
12. Ford Motors

NIT, Warangal you will have to score really well in JEE Mains and as you seem to be particular about your branch to be CSE, which holds the maximum competition so you will have to get a rank under 1000 possibly.

For Civil Engineering, last time (2016-17) out of 89 students who applied to placements from the Civil department, 56 students were placed meaning 62.9 percent placement for Civil which is an impressive number. For Civil, the minimum salary offered was 3.2 LPA. The average salary was 6.5 LPA and the maximum salary was 11 LPA. All these figures suggest pretty good placements at NIT-Warangal. Placements witness companies like Sobha Developers Group, etc. , and some investment banks like Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, etc.

It ranks 9 in the list of top engineering colleges of India. It provides the much needed skill that is hands on experience and practical knowledge of how to use different kinds of chemical and they also research about them. For Biotechnology Engineering, last time (2016-17) out of 75 students who applied to placements, 65 students were placed meaning almost 90% placement for Biotechnology which is astonishing considering the fact many core Companies rolling out offers. According to the National Institute Ranking Framework, NIT-Warangal ranks 34th among the engineering colleges in India. For Computer Science Engineering, last time (2016-17) out of 108 students who applied to placements from CSE department, 107 students were placed meaning 90.1 percent placement for CSE which is quite an impressive number. The drawback faced is very few core companies participating here. The average package lies in the range of 8-9 LPA CTC. Companies like Amazon, Zomato, Pepperfry, Cisco, Oracle, Jpmorgan, Morgan stanley, Microsoft, Flipkart, Intuit, Makemytrip, Fractal Analytics, Relinace Industry, Tata Consultancy, Lodha Developers, Runwal group, Larsen and Toubro, Bharat Forge etc. A lot more recruit the students. The highest package goes as high as 30 LPA. Some international firms also visit here every year. Internship through college is average. The NITs for a while now whereas NIT, Warangal is said to be in top 3 but its position keeps on fluctuating. If we see the MHRD ranking for engineering colleges NIT, Trichy stands at 11 while NIT, Warangal stands at 34. Coming to the CSE department, the curriculum of both the colleges is similar. NIT-Trichy is ranked 11 according to the MHRD rankings while NIT-Warangal is ranked at 34. But the question asked bothers me more. We can't compare two different branches in different colleges. Actually comparing different branches from the same college is also not a good idea. Branch is not a thing which can be termed as good or bad or better than other. Branch should be chosen only on basis of one's personal interest and passion for it. If you don't know which ones better suited for you, I would recommend to going to college's website and comparing the curriculum of both the branches. It will surely help you in making a decision.
