Yes, but last year it was JoSAA which was completed first. After that WBJEE counselling occurred by which one can take admission into JU. JU is a very good university. Placement is also very good. But not like IIT. But one preference in JU is that it takes much less money from you than any IIT.

Yes, but they've to appear in West Bengal joint entrance examination. After result you've to appear in counselling methode. If you have good rank you get chance.

The eligibility is graduation with minimum 50% marks.
Candidate must have completed Bachelor's degree in honors or equivalent exam during 2015 and 2016 in Social Work/Science/Commerce/Humanities stream. Candidates from Humanities stream must have any one of the following subjects from History, Ancient Indian and World History, Economics, Psychology, Political Science, Geography, Philosophy, Religion, Management, Education, Agriculture and English,

Well, I will not be biased here but according to me DTU for CS is the best option one can have. Jhadavpur is out of the box simply as it doesn't meet the university level that DTU is having.
