B.Sc Agriculture has better requirement in government sector than B.Sc in Forestry. Agriculture Officers in bank, in Irrigation department etc. are mostly B.Sc AG graduates.

Yes, you'll get government engineering college, but I am not sure, if you will get Kalyani Government Engineering College and Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College. Try for other government engineering college for sure.

I heard that civil engineering admissions close around GMR 150. Still, you can try your luck as it depends on the number of seats.

No, admission in civil engineering goes up to 150 rank in Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College.

You may try your luck in IT, in case you are from general category. As for IT, the closing rank goes up to 2000GMR in Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College.
