No, candidates are not allowed to get direct admission to BSc courses at Visva Bharati University. The primary eligibility criteria that the university requires to enroll students is, securing good scores in Class 12, especially in the subjects they want to specialise in. In addition to admission criteria, aspirants are required to qualify for CUET and NEST with good scores. Even, the university does not explicitly mention any rules for direct admission on its official website.

Visva Bharati University is a public central university and an Institute of National Importance located in Shantiniketan, West Bengal, India. The tuition fee for BSc courses at VBU is quite affordable. Yes, Visva Bharati does offer BSc (Hons.) courses in three-year, four-year undergraduate degree courses and BSc+MSc five year integrated course. Visva Bharti offers nine specialisations in BSc programme, including Yoga, Physical Education and other various sunjects. For admission to these BSc courses candidates are required to complete their Class 12 with a decent score, and the university accepts the CUET UG scores and NEST scores for admission.

Visva Bharati University offers BSc courses for three-year, and four-year undergraduate degree courses. In addition, the university also offers a five year BSc + MSc integrated course. The basic eligibility criteria required to get admission to BSc courses are candidates should complete Class 12 with good scores in the subjects they want to specialise in. However, the eligibility criteria for each BSc specialisation are slightly different from each other. As per your CUET score you are likely to get admission in Jadavpur University, Bengal for BA in English hons. Last year the cutoff for BA in English in Jadavpur University was 135 marks. For the year 2024, the selection was based on the CUET score. Bachelor of Arts in English is a full-time three-year undergraduate course degree and it is offered by Jadavpur University, Kolkata.
