Heritage Business School in Kolkata is only moderately selective therefore anyone aspiring to join the school does not have to further much effort to secure a seat. The eligibility criteria require minimum graduate percentage of 50 % for general category and 45 % for the reserved category and CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT scores. The selection procedure includes entrance exam result (30 %), rank obtained in graduation (30 %), group discussion (20 %) and personal interview (20 %). Every year around 1,200 students apply for admission and about 60-70% are admitted; therefore, 250-300 students are in the programme every year.

To be eligible for admission to BTech at Durgapur Institute of Advanced Technology and Management, candidates must fulfil the basic eligiblity requirements as per the college set standards. Candidates who pass Class 10 and Class 12 from a recgonised board are eligible to apply for BTech at DIATM. Yes, a four-year BTech programme is available in full-time mode at DIATM. Further, the college offers lateral entry in BTech. The course is offered in affiliation with MAKAUT. Admission to the programme is granted based on the one entrance exam score, such as JEE Main, WBJEE and WB JELET. To get the seat candidates are required to complete the admision criteria set by the college.

DIATM offers entrance-based admission to MCA. Candidates are required to apply and appear for the accepted entrance exam i.e. MAT/JEMAT . After filling out the eligibility criteria candidates are required to apply on the official website of their respective entrance exam to fill out the application form. After all the procedures the university releases its merit list. If the candidates are shortlisted on merit they are required to pay the admission fee to lock their final seats.
