R G Kar Medical College one of the oldest medical colleges in India, established in 1886. RG Kar Kolkata is affiliated with the West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS) and is recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI) for undergraduate and postgraduate medical education. The institute has an attached hospital named RG Kar Hospital. RG Kar Medical College and Hospital has 1,663 beds and emergency wards with a total of around 40 beds. The total inpatients registered in the hospital are 17,547. It is a decent college, however, it has been in the controversies lately.

IIT Kharagpur JEE Advanced Cutoff 2024 was concluded after the last round of cutoff. The cutoff was ranks for the General All India category candidates was ranged between 415 and 20427. The closing cutoff rank for BTech(Hons) CSE was 415 in 2024, 279 in 2023 and 303 in 2022; which shows that the cutoff witnessed a fluctuating trend for the course. IIT Kharagpur JEE Advanced Cutoff was released based on the category and gender. For the General AI category candidates, the Cutoff ranks ranged between 415 and 20427. To get B.Tech. (Hons.) in Mechanical Engineering, the General AI category candidates must have secured a minimum cutoff rank of 3613. For the General AI female candidates, the minimum JEE Advanced rank to get Mechanical Engineering was 10732. For the OBC AI category, the cutoff rank for Mechanical closed at 1721.
