In the BA course at St. Xavier College, Kolkata, the trend in cutoffs has been quite competitive, with the recent ones showing marginal ups and downs in this regard. The cutoffs in popular specialisations like English and Political Science have shown an increasing trend for the current academic year of 2023. According to Cut Off 2023 of the Calcutta University Entrance Examination for BA Hons. in English, the final round closing rank for students of the Home State was 287 in the General category.

The BA course tuition fee, which candidates have to pay approximately, for pursuing a BA from St. Xavier's Kolkata should be within the range of INR 22,200 to INR 2.5 lakh.
