It has a strong reputation for its production engineering department, with a well-established curriculum and good placement opportunities, making it a preferred option over NIT Agartala for this specific branch. You must go for JU instead of NIT.

No, you won't be allowed to take the test with just a digital copy. MAKAUT CET requires a printed copy of the admit card to be shown to the proctor. It's compulsory to bring a printed copy to the exam center.

The total fee for a BSc course at IHM Chennai is around INR 4.95 lakh. On the other hand, IHM Kolkata BSc fees are INR 4.2 Lacs for a three-year duration. Hence, IHM Kolkata is more affordable for BSc courses compared to IHM Chennai.
