COMEDK Eligibility

Qualifying Examination:Candidates must have passed a 12th Standard (or 2nd PUC / Equivalent Examination) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.Minimum Marks:A minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination for general category students.SC/ST/OBC Karnataka Candidates: A minimum of 45% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.Entrance Exam:COMEDK UGET does not conduct a separate entrance exam for Architecture courses.Aptitude Test:Candidates must qualify in an aptitude test for Architecture conducted by either:NTA - JEE (Main) Paper 2 Council of Architecture (COA) - NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) 

With the Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) approaching close.The candidates are eligible to participate in COMEDK UGET only if : 1) candidate must have completed their PUC or 10+2 examination in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry (PCM) stream with at least 45 percent ( 40 for general category) from a well recognised Educational Board or institute. 2) Candidate must have English as subject during their (10+2) studies. 3) Optional subjects along with mandatory Physics and Mathematics are Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science or Electronics. If any possible changes, examination criteria of AICTE/VTU will be followed.4) candidates with Diploma degrees are not eligible for COMEDK UGET Examination since there is no mention of lateral entry admissions. To know more about the examination, refer to the official website of COMEDK UGET Examination.

In general, if you have studied Mathematics as an additional subject along with Physics Chemistry and Biology (PCMB), then you may still be eligible for counselling through COMEDK, provided that you meet the other eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria for COMEDK counselling include:
1. Nationality: Indian nationals, as well as NRIs and foreign nationals, are eligible to apply.
2. Educational Qualification: You must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in PCB (40% for SC, ST, and OBC candidates of Karnataka State).
3. Minimum Age: You should have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
4. COMEDK UGET Rank: You must have obtained a valid rank in COMEDK UGET. So, if you fulfill these eligibility criteria, then you may be eligible for counselling through COMEDK, regardless of whether Mathematics was your main subject or an additional subject.
