No, COMEDK participating institutes comprises both government and private colleges. There are 132 engineering colleges which accept COMEDK UGET score for admissions to engineering courses. Out of the total institutes, 95 percent of colleges are private while 5 percent of colleges are public/government. The admissions to both private and government colleges will be done on the basis of COMEDK rank. Candidates have to qualify COMEDK UGET cutoff 2025 to secure admissions.

In general, if you have studied Mathematics as an additional subject along with Physics Chemistry and Biology (PCMB), then you may still be eligible for counselling through COMEDK, provided that you meet the other eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria for COMEDK counselling include:
1. Nationality: Indian nationals, as well as NRIs and foreign nationals, are eligible to apply.
2. Educational Qualification: You must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in PCB (40% for SC, ST, and OBC candidates of Karnataka State).

Hello Y Sai Vignesh, as per one report about 60000 students had appeared for this examination and your ranking at about 42 K can be called a bit on the lower side.
