The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) is a centralized entrance test organisation in Karnataka, India, which conducts entrance exams for admission to undergraduate courses in engineering, architecture and dental courses in the state. Based on few reviews few years back.
COMEDK Tuition Fees - Rs. 1,50,000
College fees - Rs. 21,500
Hostel fees - Rs. 80,000 for boys (excluding refundable caution deposit of Rs. 20,000) = Rs. 1,00,000 (its slightly higher for girls)
TOTAL Rs. 2,71,500/-
But we have to account for the hike in COMEDK fee this year (mostly around 10%), then the total fee comes around Rs. 2,86,500/-. This is just a rough number, considering the present scenario, the total fee will definitely not be less than 3.5 lacs this year.

According to students, COMEDK is less competitive and easier than KCET. As the COMEDK follows the syllabus pattern of the BOARD Examination, the question pattern is less hard than any KCET or any other entrance test. Almost all top engineering colleges in Bangalore registered under COMEDK.

You have average rank. With this you can't get CSE in Good colleges in Bangalore but you can get decent colleges in Bangalore. Now, I am saying Bangalore because you want CSE and you can't get better exposure and opportunities other than Bangalore because you also know that Bangalore is IT Hub and there are very large no. Of Tech Giants working in Bangalore and these companies also rarely prefer to visit other colleges outside Bangalore in Karnataka unless they are IIT/NIT.
