Commerce Admission Process

If you're currently in class 11th with Arts and want to switch to Commerce in class 12th, your first step is to check with your school about their policy on stream changes.Some schools may allow it if you show a strong interest and willingness to catch up on Commerce subjects like Accountancy, Business Studies, and Economics, which build on class 11th concepts.To strengthen your case, discuss your goals with your teachers or school counselor, and consider seeking extra support, like tutoring, to cover the foundational Commerce topics independently if needed.

To apply to Siliguri College of Commerce, candidates should visit the college in person to obtain the application form. Once acquired, the form must be completed with the enclosed Prospectus. Subsequently, applicants are required to submit the application form and necessary documents by the deadline set by both the college and the University of North Bengal. The college will publish a merit list based on H.S. or equivalent examination results, following University guidelines.
