The placements at Sankara College of Science and Commerce are better than compared to that of Nehru Arts and Science College. The average placement package received at Sankara college is about INR 3.84 Lacs per annum. Whereas for Nehru Arts and Science College, it is about INR 2.22 lakh. The accepted exam for Sankara is TANCET whereas for Nehru College is class 12th.

The best courses offered by Shri Ram College of Commerce is  B.Com (Hons) as its a flagship course at SRCC.This course is well-recognized for their quality, faculty expertise and highest placements.The highest placement for this course was recorded as 35 LPA and avrage package was 12.73 LPA.

The average package for B.A. (Hons) students at Shri Ram College of Commerce was  INR 6.54 Lacs Per Annum.Additionally, during the SRCC placements in 2024, the average package was INR 12.73 LPA for B.Com(Hons) students. Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce select students on the basis of marks secured by them in the qualifying examination. For admission in the BCom programme, candidates are first required to fill KJSAC application form on the basis of which, the college declares the merit list and invites shortlisted candidates to appear for the counselling process.

Candidates who want to take admission in the MCom programme at KJ Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce must have a BCom or equivalent degree from any recognised University. Further, admission to MCom is subject to performance of the candidates in qualifying examinations. KJSAC MCom admission 2025 is merit based.
