As far as I know, getting admission in B.Com (H) is 75% marks. And 60% in any of the main subjects. I can suggest to you one university best for academics and a good placement record. Because in the last it's all about the placement you can. But if you go to Chandigarh university you will get the opportunity to give your best in front of the best companies. 25 students got placed in Microsoft. Eligibility criteria are 55% aggregate in 10+2. There is also one scholarship scheme CUCET-2022. Where you apply to get the benefit of a 100% scholarship.

Both the colleges are equally good. Your preference could be based upon the location whether you want to go to Pune or Mumbai. But if you're looking for a good university in Punjab then you should consider checking out Chandigarh University as it is the topmost of the region with a NAAC A+ grade. University School of Business, widely considered as one of the best Commerce Colleges in Punjab, India, cultivates a new generation of commerce graduates who, through their hard work and ethics, can create remarkable results in the developing field. Chandigarh University offers specialized programs that are well suited if you want the broadest possible career options and the blend of skills necessary for certain niche careers. Best BBA College in Punjab offer you many options to specialize and combine interests. The greatest advantage of these programs is their flexibility; along with specializations, you have a broad range of elective subjects, so you can essentially custom-build your own qualification. The per semester fee is Rs. 61000 per semester.

Yep, it's a very good idea to choose commerce with math as (optional) subj, it will very helpful to your son in further classes. Its advantages are in some exams like NDA CAT CA & CS and many competitive exams. I know it's become very hectic to students those who take commerce with Maths but in the same way, as I say it's scope is too big and very helpful. I'm saying this because I'm sharing my own experience. I also had Maths as optional in the 11th commerce field.

It depends on your interest. There are so many courses in the design field. If you are interested in fashion you can go for fashion design. If not fashion graphic designing, UI/UX designing is the best option and is so versatile.

Dear Aspirant, If you are good at commerce, then choose B.Com over BCA. One of my cousins also completed B.Com after his 12th in commerce from LPU. He completed his CA exam as well along with the B.Com degree because the syllabus is designed as per the CA syllabus. The programme is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and programme (ACBSP)
Industry certifications, MOOCs, Hackathons, Workshops, Guest lectures, Educational Trips, Live projects, Incubation projects, Community projects, are an integral part of the curriculum

Dear Aspirant, If you are looking technical course other than BCA then I would recommend B.Sc. (Hons) in Computer Science or B.Sc. (Hons) in Information Technology programme after 12th in commerce. One of my friends did B.Sc. (Comp Science) after commerce from LPU and got placed in an MNC. Well, being alumni of LPU, let me tell you the eligibility criteria for these programme at LPU. You just need 60% marks in your 12th class with English subject as a mandatory subject or equivalent. Moreover, you have to qualify for the LPU NEST exam conducted by LPU. I hope this helps
Good Luck!
