SCAC Pune was established in 1983 and is affiliated with the Savitribai Phule Pune University. It is ranked 22 for Humanities & Social Sciences by India Today 2021. The college offers UG, PG, and Diploma courses to students across various streams of Arts and Commerce. The college is accredited with A+ Grade by NAAC and is approved by UGC. It has a good placement record where in 218 students placed across UG and PG courses. The highest package and average package offered to PG students were INR 8.05 LPA and INR 7.30 LPA, respectively. While on the other hand DTU was established in 1941. The university is accredited by the NAAC with an 'A' grade and is also approved by the University Grant Commission.
