Mayur,
VFX is a field of applying your design knowledge to create pleasing effects to highlight and progress the story. So typically a VFX person either comes from animation or film making. The lower end staff comes from graphics.
Now, ideally a Course in either Animation or Film Making would qualify you to then take VFX as a specialization and also ensure that you stand on firm ground. Do not focus on what the certification is called, but search more on the learnings from the course. Something like VFX Pro or similar specialized course from a good institute can be good. Only check if the faculty is of that level. Placement in VFX is b

Hi Cobi,
Academic qualifications do not form a major eligibility criterion for entering into this profession. Any person, who can develop a strong character through his/her voice or can convey the same interpretation desired by the director or producer through voice modulation, can think of a career as a voice-over artist. However, considering the boom and proliferation in media, many institutions have come up with specialized programs in voice modulation. Short-term workshops are conducted by numerous media institutions and media organizations

Hi Dubey,
Every industry in today's time has multiple career options depending on your interest and qualification. You may go ahead and choose the right career for you on basis of the job profiles and how well they match with your expectations in context to nature of work, salary, growth prospects.
Visual effects (commonly shortened to Visual F/X or VFX) involve the integration of live-action footage and generated imagery to create environments which look realistic, but would be dangerous, costly, or simply impossible to capture on film. For instance, a movie that shows the hero jumping off the ground and flying into the air, is created u

Hi lalit,
Rigging is a specialization. Like a real skeleton, a rig is made up of joints and bones, each of which act as a "handle" that animators can use to bend the character into a desired pose. If you compare it to animation, the number of jobs would be lesser. However, a good rigger would always find a job. A rigger is typically good with logic and numbers. In the recent years India alongwith South Korea, Singapore, Philippines, China and Japan have seen a huge amount of outsourced animation work from across the globe. Besides movies, animators are required for creating game & in the e-learning industry. Hence the increase in scope

Hi Lalit,
The storyboard artist use drawings and computer software to plan the shots and images for commercials, films (animated and live-action), and television shows. These drawings allow for the other members of a production crew to visualize the scene, and understand both the movements of the actors and the camera.
This career requires training in graphic design and/or animation, with a bachelor's degree preferred. This career would appeal to individuals with interests in visual design, film and television production, and design.
Hope it helps. Please feel free to revert. Click on the thumbs up or mark it as the best, if you found t

Rajat, job security happen when you take some insecure education like a Degree. When you are directly acquiring skills that are required by the market where does the question of job security come up? Unless of course one is asking whether someone would continue to employ you if you have the skills, surely they would. In fact skills are something that can't be overlooked, where as administrative jobs roles are always replaceable, and not only by people but also by software. What is your job security when the software becomes your manager and clerk. So then only skilled people would be left - that the world we are today. So go get the ri
