Generally, the course fee depends on the duration and level of the courses. However, the course fee for Beautician and Makeup course can be anywhere between Rs. 10,000 and Rs 50, 000 for a Diploma or a one-year duration course.

The average cost to hire a makeup artist in India is Rs. 5000 to Rs. 12500 depending on the products they use, the technique they apply and their skill level. Makeup Artists charge Rs. 7500 to Rs. 12500 for casual, formal and party makeup. Bridal makeup artists charge in the range of Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 1,50,000.

2. Look to retail jobs to learn about makeup.
3. Assist as much as possible- The best way to learn is to assist an established makeup artist.
