The GATE closing time for both the B.Des and M.Des courses is 9.30 am (30 minutes before the commencement of the exam), after which no candidate will be allowed inside the exam centre. So, make sure that you reach the exam centre at 8 am (the official reporting time).Note that you may have to go through security checks and registration. If you are late, then you may face a lot of trouble, which is not a good thing to experience on exam day.

Based on the NID Kurukshetra cutoff percentiles for the B.Des program, it is unlikely that you would be able to secure admission with a 75 percentile in the NID Entrance Exam. The last round cutoff percentiles for the B.Des course at NID Kurukshetra have been around 61.6 and 61.3 in the past. Additionally, the NID DAT cutoff scores for B.Des admissions in different states have been around 55.7 to 60.85 for the Open category. Therefore, to increase your chances of admission, it would be beneficial to aim for a higher percentile in the NID Entrance Exam.

Yes, NID Kurukshetra accepts the NID Entrance Exam score for admission. The cutoff score for NID Haryana is around 175 for the Open category, and the cutoff percentile for the B.Des course was 61.6 in the last round. The NID DAT cutoff marks are released by the National Institute of Design and include the minimum score that candidates need to obtain in the prelims and Mains exams. The final merit list for NID admission is prepared by considering the weighted scores obtained by the candidates in both prelims and Mains exams, with the weightage given to prelims and Mains being 30% and 70%, respectively for BDes programme.
