The National Institute of Design (NID) released admit cards for M.Des DAT Mains exam on February 22, 2024 (4 pm). The admit card has been released online at admissions.nid.edu.To download the admit card, enter your email ID and date of birth in the log-in window.The M.Des DAT Mains exam for the M.Des programme will be conducted from March 4 to April 4, 2024. The admit card will contain details like the date and time of the NID DAT 2024 exam, exam centre details, roll number, reporing time, and exam-day guidelines.

The NID Design Aptitude Test (DAT) is a two-step entrance exam. The candidate first appears in DAT Prelims. It is the sole responsibility of the candidate to provide correct and verifiable information during the application process. The participating institutes of NID DAT 2025 offers B. Des and M.Des courses. The B. Des programme is available at five participating NIDs and has an intake capacity of 425 seats. Meanwhile, the M.Des programme is three NIDs and has a combined intake of 347 seats. Admission to both B. Des and M.Des courses will be through the NID DAT 2024 entrance exam. The NID DAT 2025 counseling process for the B.Des process will START on May 16, 2025.As part of the counseling process, the candidate needs to fill in campus preferences between May 16-18, 2025. The allotment of seats for Round I of NID DAT 2025 counseling will be declared on May 27, 2025.Candidates who are allotted seats have to pay the seat-confirmation fees and upload documents by May 30, 2025.Seats that are left vacant after completion of the 1st round of allotment will be allocated in Round 2. If the candidate had any objections against the DAT Prelims results, they could ask for a recheck.The NID DAT 2024 (Prelims) recheck for the M.Des programme covered the following items:Whether all answers have been markedWhether there has been any mistakes in totalling the marks in Part II and transferring the marks to the 1st cover page of the answer booklet.The rechecking didn't evaluate any other part of the answer booklet. Also, the candidate is not allowed to claim re-evaluation, disclosure, or inspection of the answer scripts.

The DAT Prelims result covered the following items:Whether all answers have been markedWhether there has been any mistakes in totalling the marks in Part II and transferring the marks to the 1st cover page of the answer booklet.This means, the recheck didn't check whether the your answer is correct or incorrect. Further, the answer booklets were not made available.
