The answer sheets of NID will be released by the National Institute of Design (NID) only after the admissions process is complete. No request for answer sheets during the admissions process will be entertained. Note that the answer sheets will be available for one year after the announcement of the final result. The answer sheets can be availed on payment of INR 1000/- separately per exam. Note that to make a request, along with the fee payment, the candidate is also required to upload a copy of their admit cards duly attested by the Invigilator with the seal of the Test Centre.

The sample papers for NID can be downloaded from the official website of NID. Alternatively, the candidate may download the previous year's question papers and sample papers from this page. To download the NID sample papers, the candidate simply needs to click on the relevant sample paper they need to download; there is no need to log in to download the sample papers. The sample papers are available in downloadable pdf format. Candidates may note that sample papers contain questions similar to the ones that are asked in the actual exam.

Indian nationals who belong to the General and General EWS categories need to be born on or after 1 July 2003 to apply for NID that 2024. In the case of candidates belonging to the OBC-NCL, SC, and ST categories, candidates born on or after 1 July 2000 may apply. Meanwhile, PwD candidates who are born on or after 1 July 1998 may apply for admission. The candidate needs to ensure that meets the age criteria before filling out the application form. No, the date of birth cannot be changed in the NID application correction window. The candidate will also not be able to edit their name, the programme applied for admission, registered email id, and phone number, in the application form. Note that these details are entered by the candidate at the time of registering for the NID DAT exam. There are currently 18 participating institutes of NIFT 2025. However, there is one combined NID application form for admission to all the participating colleges. The candidate will be able to select their choice of colleges, in the order of preference, at the time of counseling. Note that the option to select college preferences will only be available for B. The application form for NID DAT 2024 is open in online mode from September 8, 2023. The direct link to fill out the form is provided on this page. To fill out the NID that 2024 application form, click on the application link. A registration form will open; get registered by entering your email id and mobile number. Then fill in all their details, upload documents, pay the application fee and submit the form. To be considered for admission to the BDes programme, the candidate needs to have or appear in the Class 12 exam. Candidates from any stream can apply, including Science, Arts, Commerce, Humanities etc. For the General and General EWS categories, only those candidates born on or after 1 July 2003 are eligible to apply for admission. Note that for candidates belonging to SC, ST, and OBC-NCL categories, there is a relaxation of 3 years. Meanwhile, PwD candidates are eligible for a relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit.
