In order to download the admit card online, candidates will be required to log in using their email ID and date of birth. Candidates should also note that the NID that 2023 Mains admit card is a mandatory document that every candidate needs to carry to the exam hall for appearing for the examination.

The candidate was given the option to select NID DAT 2023 exam centres from April 3 (4 pm) to April 5 (4 pm). The test centres were allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. In the case of candidates who failed to select test cities, the system automatically allocated test cities based on the availability of seats in respective test centres. The details of the test centre allocated to the candidate are mentioned in the NID DAT 2023 admit card. The NID DAT Mains 2023 Studio Test for B. Des was held on April 30, 2023.

The NID that 2023 Prelims exam was conducted in a pen-and-paper based mode. The NID that 2023 Mains exam for the B. Des programme comprise a Studio Test, which will also be conducted offline mode. Meanwhile, the that Mains exam for the M.Des programme comprises a Studio Test and Interview, which are also be conducted offline. The Studio Test may include multiple formats (Drawing/ Sketching/ Model Making). In case of the M.Des programme, candidates are shortlisted for the Interview based on the performance of the candidate in the Studio Test.

On exam day, you need to bring with you the NID that 2023 admit card and a valid photo ID proof. No candidate will be allowed inside the NID DAT 2023 exam venue unless they carry these documents.
The list of documents accepted for ID proof will be mentioned on the admit card. Typically, the candidate may carry Aadhaar card, driving license, and passport, as ID proof. But do ensure that the ID proofs are valid.

The NID DAT Mains 2023 exam for the B. Des programme was conducted in the following cities - Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Gandhinagar, Kolkata & Kurukshetra. The candidate was given the option to select the exam city between April 3 (4 pm) to April 5 (4 pm). The Mains exam for the B. Des programme will be conducted offline in the following cities - Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Gandhinagar, Kolkata & Kurukshetra. The candidate was given the option to select test cities between April 3-5, 2023. The allotment of exam city was done on a first-come, first-served basis. The details of the NID that 2023 exam centre allocated to the candidate will be mentioned in the of the NID that 2023 (Mains) admit card. Earlier, the National Institute of Design released the list of NID that 2023 exam centres for that Prelims through the Admission Handbook for the B. Des and M.Des programs.

The NID that exam is conducted in two stages - that Prelims and that Mains. Candidates who qualify that Prelims has to next appear in that Mains. The shortlisting for that Mains is done on the basis of scores obtained by candidates in the that Prelims exam. The that Prelims scorecard, along with section-wise scores, also contains the qualifying status of the candidate. Candidates who status says "qualified" can appear in that Mains.
