There is only one NID DAT entry exam held each year. DAT Prelims and DAT Mains are the two sub-exams for the exam. Based on their DAT Prelim results, candidates are selected for the DAT Mains exam. The DAT preliminary exam takes place in late December or early January. Also, make sure that the sample papers covers the entire syllabus and are not repetitative.For instance, some sample papers may contain the same types of questions, though the language may be altered a bit.
