For (Design Aptitude Test), there isn't much that you can do. Firstly, and most importantly, you should have an aptitude for design. NID papers are designed in such a way that only those who have a creative side will be able to clear it. The question paper is a mix of creativity, logical thinking and general knowledge. You need to be aware of the latest happenings in the world. Cramming up yearbooks won't help you, seriously. Instead make a habit of reading the newspaper every day.

Web development is quite a crowded space. To break into web development as individual consultant or job is difficult because of lots of competition from B.Tech, MCA, BCA, B.Sc CS/IT, Diploma etc candidates. Anybody who wants to become Web developer must have very good understanding of html, css and javascript. In addition it is necessary to learn at least the basics of jquery.Basic understanding of MYSQL will be very helpful. Base on these basics you can learn PHP, Python, Ruby etc.

Hi,
I would say there's plenty of time left for you to prepare for NID entrance. All you need to understand is that NID entrance does not entirely focus on design. It analyses your skills as a whole. You need to be prepared with some technical and general questions as well. The most important thing you must understand is that at NID, you're practically judged on the basis of your confidence and communication. The design comes afterwards.
