It is impossible. Only passed students in HSC can do Diploma in computer engineering. Firstly, you need to clear HSC after that you are eligible for the Diploma. Good luck.

Hi Sreedhar, Since you have not mentioned the educational background, I would still mention the basic qualification become a software engineer. A software engineer is basically the one working for an IT firm (Service provider/application product provider). You need to complete your class 12th with PCM (mandatory) to be eligible to pursue a technical course most commonly B.Tech. However, BCA/MCA graduates also apply for a technical jobs in engineering. Hi Bharath, Software Engineer or Software Science is the study of how Software systems are built which includes Software Testing, Quality Assurance or Project Management. One applies Engineering concepts to develop a Software. If one is interested in hands-on approach. Then, they can choose Software Engineer Field. Computer Engineer or Computer Science deals on working of Computer in terms of Theoretical and Mathematical point of view. If one likes Mathematics, Logic. Then, they can opt for specialised fields like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning or Graphics.

Consider doing engineering. For this, pass in 10+2 and entrance exams (state, national, university level) the eligibility criteria. Specifically, I recommend you to choose computer science or information science since you are determined to be a software engineer. Alternately, Bachelors in Computer Applications and IT is also a good option.
