Hello Zaid,
While Computer Engineering equally covers both hardware and software aspects, IT and software engineering has a lesser focus on the hardware aspect. However, this difference hardly matters as universities frequently keep updating the syllabus for each branch.
Unless and until, you get a job in a hardware manufacturing company like Intel, Logitech, etc., this little difference in the syllabus hardly matters. Most of the jobs offered is in the software domain.
So, there is no need to compare the little differences between the branches. Get admission in a good college in any of these branches, keep a percentage of over 70 without

Hi Raseen,
Your low marks might trouble you, if you opt for engineering, but there are other courses around for you to choose. You can opt for B.Sc (IT or CS) or go for the BCA + MCA course. All these courses require PCM combination. So, you can opt for it. I don't think low marks in mathematics will cause any problem in these courses.
I hope it helps. If you have any further questions, kindly revert.

Hello Akash,
It's good to know that you are looking forward to a career in software engineering. At the moment, you need to work really hard to secure a good percentage in your 10th and 12th board examinations. 75+ would be a decent percentage.
You need to understand the basics of physics, chemistry, mathematics and computers. This will help to increase your board examination percentage. Once you have entered the 11th standard, I would recommend you to join an engineering coaching institute. They will help you prepare yourself for engineering. They also conduct periodic tests which help you analyze your preparation level and you can stud
