LPU is definitely good for CSE but you need to fulfill the eligibility criteria for the same to get admission in LPU. UPES Scores are not considered by LPU. For admission in LPU you need 60% in class 12th with English, Physics and Maths and LPU NEST. Also, you get direct admission in LPU if you have 90% or above in Class 12th or 90 percentile in JEE Mains. CSE from Lovely Professional University is always preferred among students. Being an Alumni of LPU from same course, I would say go for LPU.
