Computer Science and Engineering in Chandigarh

All the three options are good but both the branches are totally different you can't say which is best among these, it totally depends on your personal interest, if you are interested in coding then go with CSE at PEC Chandigarh but if you are not interested in coding or computer languages or you want to do field work after B.Tech then go with NIT Bhopal or NIT Kurukshetra whatever you will get. Getting UIET Chandigarh at this score is difficult and in the CSE it looks impossible but you can try your best for the same might be till the last round of the counselling you will get this and yes you can easily get a package of 12 lakhs and above from this college.

From Thapar and UIET, I'll refer you to opt for the UIET as this college placements is day by day increasing and the placements of Thapar university is day by day decreasing.
Last year the average package is 3.5 lakhs while that of Thapar is only 1.75 Lacs.

NIT Delhi is newly established college and started it's functioning in year 2010-2011. Hence, it's outcomes are still awaited. While PEC Chandigarh is well established India's the oldest college ( Since 1921). The placement record of PEC is very healthy, so my choice is PEC.

In my opinion, CSE at NIT Jalandhar is better than CSE at PEC Chandigarh, because NIT Jalandhar provides good quality of CSE faculty members and good course curriculum.

I would say that CSE at PEC is much better than ITY at NIT Kurukshetra. The reason being the placements of CSE at PEC are very good and the department of CSE is also very cool. They have chilled out environment.

Well in terms of branch, CS at both colleges is equally good and students get packages as high as 2530 LPA at both colleges. However, by college NIT Kurukshetra has a bigger brand name than PEC and is among the top tier colleges in the country. PEC is also very good as a college but you will have a tag of NIT. Moreover, you have excellent faculty at NIT kurukshetra with professors passed out from IITs as well (don't know of Pec). Facility at NIT Kurukshetra is also very good. All the best and take your decision wisely.
