If you are asking for CSE in NIT then let me tell you, you got very good rank. You just need to fill your choices in JoSAA. I think you can get NIT.

I would say Amity University Gwalior as it benchmarks only against the best universities around the world. It is passionate about grooming leaders who are not only thorough professionals but also good human beings with values. Keeping in mind the best institutions around the world. The faculty and senior team has travelled all over the globe to learn and imbibe the best practices so as to give back a solid foundation for learning. The biggest strength of Amity. A unique Corporate Resource Centre to facilitate excellent placements. Alumni all over the world in leading companies like McKinsey, Ernst & Young, HLL, and Reliance.

Amity has a very good campus. People think what is the benefit of campus but go and ask people studying in small private colleges. They get irritated spending 4 years in one building. You have 60 acres Noida campus (I have heard it has expanded now) to roam. Placement might not be 100% but the reason is mostly that of the irresponsible behavior of students. I guess, there are 100s of company visiting the campus every year. The problem will be there on university end if nobody if getting placed but if 2000 student got placed and you are not getting placed that's a problem on your side.

Dear Shankar,
If the subjects studied at Amity University are the same as SGITS-Indore then there may be a scope to get admission in the second year. Otherwise, you have to repeat your first year. But Amity University, Madhya Pradesh is doing a really great job in moulding a student's career in the best way. Amity witnessed record placements in the year 2019. Students have got multiple job opportunities in IT companies with salary packages between 4.5 LPA-11 LPA.

Of course, NIT Jalandhar is a better option than IIIT Gwalior.

Jaypee is better in terms of placement and teaching. Placement package ranges from 3 to 5 LPA in this campus but the package in ITM is very less as compared to Jaypee. So I suggest to go with Jaypee.

VIT, Bhopal is better since this has its core branch in Vellore and all the placements are done from Vellore for all the branches and also VIT provides many opportunities for the CSE branch students.
