The following requirements must be MET in order to be admitted to a four-year Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering (B.Tech) programme: Students should have completed their 12th grade years with respectable grades. Students must pass the required English language exam. IELTS scores in the band of 6/9 with a minimum score of 5.0 on each part and TOEFL scores of 61/120 are both accepted. Additionally, you must pass the Scholastic Assessment Test SAT and achieve respectable results.

I don't understand that for which problem you are talking about. I think that you are afraid of the change in the stream from electrical to computers. Right? So dear, I want to clarify that there is no harm in changing the stream from UG to PG. You are absolutely eligible (provided you must have to fulfill other conditions also). However, your visa investigation officer may ask about this question. And trust me, you must have to convince him with your answer. You may face this (that why you want to change your stream?) in US's university application form. So be prepared for the answer. Otherwise, all is well.
