There are no guarantees of getting a job anywhere abroad after a degree as it entirely depends on the demand and supply during the year of your graduation. With almost a crore spent on b.tech in usa, you need to weigh all pros and cons. What universities can provide you at the most is opportunities to network and train you on job related skills.

Dear Akshar, you must take both. Infact take TOEFL instead of IELTS if you plan to study in US. TOEFL OR IELTS are tests for English language proficiency. GRE on the other hand is the aptitude test testing your skills in reasoning, Mathematics and so on. Read more about the tests and understand the differences.
