The B.Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering is focused on providing foundational knowledge and skills to the students. This includes knowledge of core subjects as well as introductory content for advanced areas. Students learn such skills as programming, communication skills, presentation skills, teamwork, and project development, which are aimed at producing a lifelong self-learner and a good individual with a team working ability. However, engineers who have pursued CSE will have an edge over engineers from other streams because of the knowledge and skills they gather in college. There is a huge scope of placements in CSE. In fact, it has taken the top position in placements as compared to the other fields. Tech Batch 2021 22. The MS Engineering College has a dedicated training and placement cell to assist students during placement. The placement rate for B.E. In Computer Science and Engineering is approximately 70 percent, as per alumni at MS Engineering College. The highest salary package you may get with your performance in the interview is 8 LPA. However, placement rates vary every year depending on the companies coming for placement. The placement cell also provides assistance for external placement in Bangalore or other cities. Almost 89% of companies were IT companies from previous years' recruiting companies, including IBM.

The placements for CSE department is dependent on your college
If you go in IIT'S and NIT'S, top IIIT (Gwalior, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Lucknow, Allahabad) it's placement in CSE is above 20+ lacks
But private colleges is not good for average placement.

Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar is popularly known as LPU is conducting its placement drive for the batch 2022 and this year the highest CTC stood at INR 3 CPA which was 1.5 times higher than the last year. The highest domestic salary stood at INR 62.72 LPA. A total of 8400 Job and Internship offers were made. Cognizant recruited the maximum number of students (1410+ Students) followed by Capgemini which recruited 770+ Students. A students of B.Tech CSE/IT was offered a package of INR 49.4 LPA by Paloalto. A total of 383 students have been placed at the packages of INR 10-64 LPA.

JMIT and JMIETI are the colleges of Mukand institution. Placements here are good, and the salary package offered is up to 10 LPA and also above. Almost every student gets placed. The administration keeps full effort that maximum companies reach here to hire students and to provide quality placements.
