Engineering Placements at Chandigarh University A Glance
Campus Placements for the session 2021-22 saw some big names such as Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, Hewlett Packard, SAP Labs, Samsung, L&T, Arcesium, Wipro, and Flipkart recruiting engineering students from Chandigarh University. A record number of 3750 engineering students were selected during the campus placements in which more than 240 multinational companies participated. In total there was a jump of 30% in the number of total companies visiting the CU campus for campus placements of engineering students while there was a jump of 70% in the number of core branch companies that selected the fresh talent. Moreover, the total number of offers made to the engineering students also saw a rise of 60% in comparison to last year. Of the total 240 Engineering sector companies, more than 300+ MNCs offered pay-package of more than 5 LPA while a number of companies offering packages of more than 10 LPA touched 80+ this year. It is notable that the highest package of Rs. 52.11 LPA was offered by TOP Company.

As an alumnus of LPU, I feel proud to answer this question. B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering is related to algorithms, computation, programming languages, programme design, computer hardware, computer software, etc. It is a comprehensive course in computer systems and applications. The students who pursue the course of Computer Science Engineering are taught about design, the implementation as well as management of computer software and hardware.
1 Placement: Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft in 2020. DURING PANDEMIC THE PLACEMENT 20202021 Cloud ERA has offered 31 Lacs Per annum (CSE) DURING 20192020 CODE NATION = 31 LPA.
