Both are equivalently good sectors. To be precise ECE is better than CSE, also CSE course will be easy throughout your 4 years but ECE will be very tough. Any branch that is integrated with electronics is named as an evergreen branch of engineering.

Chitkara University is more famous for its Rajpura Campus. By saying famous it means that there is more scope as to placements are concerned. Baddi campus is more of the engineering field, but the Rajpura campus has taken over that position. The faculty, academics, extra curricular activities carried out are amazing.

Big companies don't come to colleges for placements, because they are very professional and reputed companies, they cannot hire any fresher just on the basis of college test, GD and PI. Also, they need some high skilled people for their companies, if you have those skills you can surely apply for these companies, also these companies have their own exams for certification like Codvita, Codejam etc. If you clear this exams you will get a direct call for interview from big companies such as Google or TCS and lastly about a Lacs salary, so clear these exams you will get 6 to 15 Lacs packages. All the best.

SRM University Delhi NCR, Sonipat is new in the business. Although it's growing day by day, if you compare it with the main campus then you will get a negative reply. SRM Delhi is comparable to other private engineering colleges of Delhi NCR but if we talk about the opportunities then SRM may have upper hand. Students get chance to sit in the placement drive of the main campus and talented one utilities it. Campus life is good, faculty members are good there too. As usual, Computer Science Engineering branch is the best branch in this university and offers an average package of around 3 Lacs per annum.

If you like computer, want to build crazy application or something related to software go with Computer Science engineering. If you like playing with machines/motors or electricity go ahead with Mechanical engineering. Or Electrical engineering. If you are India, after studying Electronics and communication engineering most of the students gets job/work in IT companies. Only few percent gets chance in electronics companies. So I would suggest, better to study Computer Science engineering. If you want to sail through vast sea go with Marine engineering. If you have not decided what you want to do after B.Tech, sit for one or two days an

Staffed by senior professionals and placement executives, the team initiates and maintains the University-Industry dialogue and manages the summer internship programme and final placement activities. The team evaluates student performance levels and ensures relevant preparation for their corporate placements. Working both at the supply and demand sides of the placement, the team plays the vital intermediary role of matching academic excellence and industry expectations and counseling the students appropriately. Around 90-95% of students from CSE/IT department gets placed in some or the other companies. The package could be as low as 2.8 Lacs or it could be high as 25 Lacs (although only 2 students got that in the entire history), but students at least got a job. Few of the reputed (core CSE) companies which visited the campus in the past few years are Adobe, Amazon, HP, Hike Messenger, etc. Other than this, there are certain other companies such as Ivy Computech, Josh Technologies which also provide a handsome salary. The mass recruiters such as Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant visits every year to recruit a bulk of students. Most of the companies w
