I imagine you will be pursuing engineering, and are seeking which of the degrees is more beneficial for you. CSE and IT have almost 90 percent same subjects for engineering. All the important computer-related CA, OS or microprocessors. Only some hardware labs for CSE and software labs for IT differ. CSE is older stream, it has been released rather recently. So there's just a hype for CSE being better. Old is not always gold. Now, the important part comes where software engineers are most desperate for. The money. Placements really don't matter which stream you are from, at the end they are all looking for your coding skills. Both are e

IOT the the future of the software industry. The job scope is huge in this specialization. Go ahead as CSE is a good stream with maximum job offers these days. The need for you would be a good university giving you the best academic facilities: best faculty, good placements, wide platform, international exposure, workshops, scholarships etc. There are some colleges giving you the best placement practices by conducting placement classes and drives conducted by companies. Check from institutions like VIT and Lovely Professional University.

ECE is about electronics and how the different electrical components (Microprocessor, RAM etc.). Communicate with each other. It has more Physics in it. There is a little programming involved but not much. CSE deals with telling these components what to do and when to do it; by programming them. It has a lot of logic involved and Maths too. Eg: In designing a tablet/phone, all the hardware work is done by the ECE people and all the software stuff (making the different components like RAM, processor talk to each other, and the Operating system) is done by the CSE people. Both are inter-dependent. Placement wise, ECE is a little better t

Both are same but there are some differences between them. Computer Science and information technology syllabus is approximately same but in 8th semester, only one subject is changed in IT. Companies and recruiters first prefer CS students over IT students.

CS is a core subject as IT is not, so its always better to go for CS, though both have similar placements and similar payscale. But to study any one of it, its important to get a good college, mostly top 5 in the city or higher
