You can not choose and compare among any branch of engineering because it depends on your knowledge base.

CSE is considered as the top most branch in India. Opportunities and scope in CSE never dies. You may end up by getting a good salary package.

CSE/IT has the maximum scope but still opt for the engineering branch that you love the most and are most passionate about and analyse the future work conditions, scope and growth prospects before taking admission. You can also opt for psychometric test comprising of aptitude, personality and career interest to clear the confusion.

Both the fields are good. If you are looking forward working in the government sector then civil is a better option. Though in the current scenario, computer science is a much more preferred branch. As the technology is growing in the field of digital networks, more scope is in CS as compared to civil.
