UPES Dehradun is a very reputed university and is known for providing good placements for its students. The highest package offered to BTech CSE students during UPES placements in 2024 stood at INR 50.09 LPA. Moreover, the median package for CSE graduates stood at INR 8.41 LPA, respectively. The placements offered to BTech CSE branch are going on for the batch passing out in 2024 and is not yet released by the official website of college. It will be published on the official college website once released. However, the median package offered during BITS Pilani placements for the 2023 batch stood at INR 30 LPA.

Seacom Skills University cutoff 2024 has been released for WBJEE, on the basis of which admission to the BE/BTech courses takes place. As per the WBJEE cutoff 2024, the closing rank ranged between 28838 and 100001 for the students belonging to the General category under the AI quota. Velammal Engineering College cutoff 2024 has been released for admisison to the BE/ BTech courses. Admission to BE/ BTech is based on a valid TNEA scores, followed by a counselling process.
